It is for planning your next purchase order before you run out of important products. It helps you review current stock, weekly sales, lead time, safety stock, and stockout risk.
Do I need to save before leaving the page?
Yes. Your changes are only stored after clicking Save Planner. If you leave with unsaved changes, the page will warn you first.
Can I export the planner as a PDF?
Yes. Click Export PDF to save or print a clean restock report for the current branch planner.
What is Minimum Order Qty?
Minimum Order Qty is the smallest quantity the tool suggests ordering so the product does not run out before your next supply arrives.
What is Target Order Qty?
Target Order Qty is the quantity suggested for your next purchase order based on the number of selling days you want to cover.
What does lead time mean?
Lead time is the number of days it usually takes for new stock to arrive after placing an order. A longer lead time means the planner may recommend ordering earlier.
What is safety stock?
Safety stock is the extra quantity you want to keep as buffer to reduce the risk of running out of stock.
Can I create planners for different branches?
Yes. Each branch can have its own active planner. Use the branch buttons near the top to switch between branches or create a new branch planner.
Can I rename a branch?
Yes. Use the Rename current branch option below the branch buttons. It is kept small so it does not distract from the main planner workflow.
What happens when I remove a product line?
The product line is removed from the current planner view. You still need to click Save Planner to store the updated planner.

The Buy on Tail Stocks button helps search for related wholesale products on the Tail Stocks shop. As the tool improves, it can eventually connect planner lines to exact Tail Stocks SKUs.

Yes. The Restock Planner is a free retailer tool inside your Tail Stocks account.
What if a brand is not available on Tail Stocks yet?
If the brand is not recognized, the tool can show a Request Brand option so you can let Tail Stocks know what brand you want added.
